Doc’s qualities as a listener inspire me to bring up and out all kinds of internal observations to explore with the benefit of his insights. From conversations that often start as my complaints, I have worked through some major personal realizations, including the cycle of hope and despair as well as the origins and true costs of living to protect and defend a self- construct that is based on how I “should” be. With the goal of an authentic way of being that effectively deals with “what is” by being fully present in the moment, I look forward to practicing with Martin as my coach.
