You will love living in Paramount . The city is a family city with an old school feel.  Lot of parks, great restaurants and very family oriented.  The city is ethnically diverse and has its own school district.  Centrally located to the 91 freeway and 105 freeway and the Metro link. Adjacent to Lakewood and Downey. City has overcome many obstacles and experienced significant growth with a very active Redevelopment Agency.

City is known as a small town with a big heart.  Very diverse population and city council including a female mayor. Very active community organizations and city is known for volunteerism.  City encourages open space and shared facilities for business.

Paramount is a city located in southeast Los Angeles County, California, in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It was founded in 1948 and became incorporated in 1957. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 77,852.

Originally known as an agricultural center including the Dairy Industry and worlds larges Hay market.  The last dairy closed in 1977. City has long term Industry that employs many residents.  Industry includes the Marukan Vinegar company, World Energy (bio producing fuel) and Wayfront Technologies (computer holograms). Attractions

Paramount is known as an Urban Small town in LA County. The Paramount Hay Tree is a California State Historical Landmark. It is a still standing mature camphor tree remembered for its importance to the hay trading marketplace of the town.  Home of the Iceland Skating Rink and the famous Paramount Drive in Theater. City has lots of parks and local restaurants. entertainment at the nearby Downy Performing Arts Theater , Downey Landing, Stonewood Shopping Mall.
